Prospective students are offered the opportunity to participate in a programme of full-time and part-time courses, comprising a number of engaging and innovative disciplines.

Whether you are a school leaver, mature student, second chance CAO, long term unemployed, part-time worker, return to education or lifelong learner, we have a choice of courses that may appeal to you.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATION COURSE – QQI Course Code 5M1997:

This course aims to provide students with the skills necessary to meet the demands of working within a modern day office.  Students are trained to a high level of competency in current office technology.  The course is designed to include a variety of subjects which will provide the essential skills to equip our students with the means to work in a variety of administrative areas.

NURSING STUDIES COURSE QQI Level 5 Major Award – 5M4349:

This course promotes the development of knowledge, skills and competencies necessary for students to work in a range of care environments while enhancing an awareness of the roles and responsibilities of the nursing profession. Throughout the course emphasis is placed on the importance of issues such as dignity, privacy, confidentiality, empathy and respect in the care of the client in a healthcare setting.

HEALTHCARE SUPPORT QQI Level 5 Major Award – 5M4339:

The demand for qualified healthcare professionals has increased significantly in recent years. With this demand there is the expectation that healthcare workers are trained to the highest standard in the practical, social and legal aspects of the profession. Our courses in Healthcare provide the essential elements of knowledge, competence and skill for academic progression or employment within Healthcare settings.

NIGHT TIME COURSES:

We strive to offer a diverse range of options, by night for the Autumn and Spring term, every year. Prospective students are offered the opportunity to participate in a range of accredited and hobby courses. This year we are offering Early Childhood Care and Education, QQI Level 5 Major Award, over a 2 year period, 2 nights a week, commencing January 2017.
