On 29th April Ms O’ Leary’s and Ms Wiseman’s 5th Home Economics classes went to Sea View House hotel , Ballylickey for afternoon tea.
This was a valuable experience for the students as this topic is on their Leaving Cert practical journal assignment work. 23 student attended, we left the school during lunch time break and we resided in the hotel for the duration of our double Home Ec class for the afternoon.
We were greeted on arrival and shown into the oval dining room, seated and presented with a wonderful array of sandwiches , scones and cakes. All thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and came away with a memorable experience.
