Well done to U16 Basketballer Clodagh Downey who represented Ireland at the Four Nations tournament over Easter. Clodagh and her Irish team were involved in an international tournament with England, Wales and Scotland also competing. There was an added bonus for Clodagh yesterday when the squad for the next phase of the International Basketball programme was announced and her name was on it. Well done Clodagh!
Good luck to Robert Cronin whose motor racing career takes him to Donnington Park in the UK this weekend to take part in the Porsche Visit Cayman Islands Sprint Challenge GB. Good luck Robert!
More fantastic news from the Basketball world this week with the announcement of the Irish Under 19 wheelchair Basketball Squad. Congratulations to Oisín O’ Connor who was named in the squad and will travel to Scotland in July to play in an International tournament.
