There are a lot of fantastic things going on outside of school for our students. We would like to acknowledge the brilliant achievements that we have been made aware of here.
- On Saturday night a number of our students represented Bantry Boxing Club in a boxing tournament in the Maritime Hotel Bantry. Well done to Con Desmond, Paddy Desmond, Brikena Kotarja, Tina Kotarja, Nikola Dragas, Kieran Coughlan and Jack Gibbons who all took to the ring to the rousing support of many of their schoolmates. Well done to the fantastic support also.
- Sophie M O’Sullivan of TY will play in the FAI WU17 Cup Final next Sunday. Cork City v Shelbourne in Tolka Park. What a fantastic achievement for Sophie and her teammates to get to this stage. Good luck from all at CPB.
- CPB Basketballers Clodagh Downey, Jack Phillps and Charlie Curran have all made it through to the last 40 of the Irish International Squads after trials over the last number of weeks. Clodagh (U16 Girls) and Charlie and Jack (U16 boys) will all go to training camps over the mid term with their Irish squads. The squads will be cut to 12 for the Summer European Championships so we wish you all good luck going forward with this.
