Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí were defeated by Cobh in the quarter final of the Cork Post-Primary Schools U-16 C Hurling championship at Annahala on Tuesday 15 October. Bantry trailed by 3-3 to 1-3 at half-time.
The team worked hard to reduce the deficit to 3 points halfway through the second half, unfortunately two late goals meant that the East Cork side were convincing winners at the end of the game on a score line of 5-7 to 2-7.
