CPB Battles Nagle Community College in Junior Cup.

CPB played against Nagle Community College in Junior Cup on Wednesday in Cork. Nagle fielded a strong team with 4 Cork representative players. In the first half Nagle threw everything at us, Sophie O’Shea in goals was outstanding and our defensive line of Seren Lehane, Allanah Downey, Sophie Daly and Chloe Daly kept Nagle at bay. In the second half a couple of dubious calls resulted in goals, but the girls kept the match alive creating chances until the final whistle blew. Outstanding performances across the field lead by the Captain Lauren Connell. Well done girls great representation of your school.
