On Wednesday our u14 boys travelled to Rosscarbery to play Mount Saint Michael. CPB played some great football with a spread of 6 different scorers. Micheal Coppinger and Max Leahy excelled making great runs throughout the game. Conor Sheedy hit the back of the net 3 times to keep CPB in contention but the opposition had a healthy lead at halftime. They never relinquished this advantage despite the best efforts of Kieran O’Sullivan who made great saves in goals. Bill O’Donovan was super in defence. Owen Myler had a fantastic game with great blocks and tackles going in. Rhyan Harrington also raised a green flag with a super shot on goal. Oliver Milanowski did a great job tackling and making himself an option with well timed runs. Seán Holland impressed with his break through runs to get ball into the forwards. Joey Sheehan, Corey O’Sullivan, Micheal Coppinger and Tolii Golovchak all added scores to CPB’s tally. Well done boys on a great effort!
Scorers: Joey Sheehan 0-1, Rhyan Harrington 1-3, Conor Sheedy 3-0, Corey O’Sullivan 0-1, Micheal Coppinger 0-3, Tolii Golovchak 0-1
