On Thursday Kieran O’Donovan from Murnane & O’Shea and Ronan O’Brien from CIF (Construction Industry Federation) visited CPB to talk to TY, 5th and 6th year students interested in a career in construction. Kieran explained how he started out unsure of what he wanted to do after school but having a love of construction led him to where he is now today in his career. An interesting part was that “you can earn while you learn” which certainly is an attractive aspect. Thanks to Mr O’Donnabháin for organising this insightful talk.
