Mrs. McGrath’s LCVP class decided to hold a “cinema day”, as part of their LCVP Programme, in the school for first year students.
We changed two classrooms into a cinema and showed the movie Grown Up’s 2 . We charged the students to see the movie. In order to include the rest of the students, we sold Cystic Fibrosis bands, pens and badges during the day.
In total we raised the grand total of €860.00 and thanks to sponsorship from Mr. Mick Cremin, Cremin Coach Hire, no expenses were incurred and the full amount was presented to CF Ireland. We then presented the cheque to Mr. and Mrs. Cronin, parents of Rachel Cronin, a past member of our school, who sadly passed away.
