This morning, in anticipation of the upcoming Munster Senior Football Final to be played tomorrow, our senior boys’ Gaelic Football team, along with their mentors Mr. David Harrington, Mr. Ivan Kingston, Mr. Alan O’Sullivan, Mr. James Shanahan, and Principal Ms. Marian Carey, were graciously presented with new playing gear by three generous sponsors.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Mick Cremin of Cremin Coaches for generously sponsoring two new sets of jerseys. Additionally, our extensive thanks go to Ger O’Brien of OB Woodcrafts Limited for sponsoring shorts for the players, and to Bantry Credit Union, represented by Finbarr O’Shea and Noreen Cronin, for sponsoring playing socks.
We also wish to express our immense appreciation to Bantry Blues and St. Colums GAA clubs, represented by Arthur Coakley and Emmet Vaughan, for their sponsorship of brand new O’Neill footballs for the teams.
The entire school community sends their best wishes to the team for tomorrow’s final. We also extend our best wishes to their dedicated mentors, Mr. David Harrington, Mr. Ivan Kingston, Mr. Alan O’Sullivan, and Mr. James Shanahan.
