On Thursday 13th of March our First Year Boys and Girls Basketball teams made history by becoming the first Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí Basketball Teams to win their championships at the highest level of Irish Schools Basketball. Both teams won all of their pool games from January to March and semi finals last week to set up a finals day with two competing teams from our school. With great support behind them the boys took the victory against Coláiste Choilm of Ballincollig and in the later game the girls won against Carrigaline. The teams had great support from students, staff and their families. Congratulations to their coaches Mr Curran and Miss Lane.
