On Friday the 1st year boys played Mount Saint Michaels in the Basketball Ireland South League. The game was extremely close in the first two quarters with the half time score 12-8 in favour of CPB. Ben Daly and Stephen Collins produced a great defensive display. Ruairí O’Brien was instrumental in setting up some great scores for the team with James Cronin scoring 12 points on the day. Billy O’Mahony’s passing was excellent. In the third quarter CPB really impressed with really great scores extending their lead to 31-14. Tom Conlon contributed 14 points, with four three pointers!! Well done to the whole team for a great team performance and win

By topping their pool the boys will now have a home quarter final in the coming weeks.
