On Tuesday the 1st year girls basketball team had a convincing win against Coachford. Our girls started off strong and kept momentum throughout the game, rotating players on constantly kept the girls alert.
The game started off well with excellent defence from Rebecca O’Connor and Aine Courcey. Anna Russell and Caragh McCarthy were worked very hard at catching rebounds from under the basket. Kacey Cotter and Callie O’Donoghue carried the ball well down to their team mates which resulted in many scores. Kate O’Sullivan was alert and strong on the ball she contributed with savage rebounds. This was a great team performance with a great out come.
