After a trip to St Aidan’s yesterday for our U16 and U19 A Boys Basketball they took to the court today at home to Ballincollig Community School. In the Under 16 game it was one way traffic for most of the game with excellent play by Eric De Palau, James Murphy and Cian Hayden getting CPB into an early lead. The lead would expand and it finished as a comprehensive win with each of the 10 players seeing lots of court time.
The under 19 game started off as a closer contest but CPB got into a great rhythm in the 2nd and third quarter where Charlie Curran, Cian Keohane and Shane Murnane did the majority of the teams scoring addded to great defensive rebounding by Paddy Russell and some great offensive play by Jack Phillips and Ethan Hanley who each chipped in scores.
