Colaiste Pobail Bheanntrai Chess Teams Excel at SCP/Dunmanway Credit Union Chess Cup Tournament: Multiple Medals and Awards Earned!

Well done to the three Colaiste Pobail Bheanntrai Chess teams that competed in the recent SCP/Dunmanway Credit Union Chess Cup tournament in Skibbereen, and congratulations to Alfred Biju, Joe Murnane and Timmy Gibbons who were presented with bronze medals by Mr. Anton O’Mahony, Principal of Skibbereen CommunitySchool. Congratulations also to Dara O’Leary who received his award as CBP Chess League champion, and to Timmy Gibbons and Patrick Biffen who won Chess Club novice awards. Both of these were presented by Brigid Hartnett, Community Garda.
