On Monday our 1st and 2nd year girls soccer team took to the pitch against Nagle College in the Cork Schoolgirls League. It was a tough battle and both teams gave a great display of football. The teams were level at half time with Michaela O’Sullivan scoring for CPB. In the second half the hard work and pressing paid off with Michaela netting her second as well as Maggie O’Donoghue getting on the scoresheet. Seren Lehane was excellent in defence. Fiona Buckley had a great effort saved by the opposition keeper. Well done to all of the girls on a great win.
