Members of the Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí Senior Girls squad were invited to the fantastic Mardyke Arena at UCC for the FAI Schools Munster Branch launch of our new Secondary Schools Girls Soccer Competitions.

In the UCC Cup, our U15 side will have an away trip to face either Clonakilty or city school Regina Mundi College.
The U19 team will be sure of having the support of our whole school community as they make history, in the inaugural Denise O’Sullivan Cup, with a home match on our school pitch against Christ King Secondary School.
The partnership between University College Cork and FAI Schools developing female participation in soccer is another positive step, especially with the career opportunities and scholarships now available for women in sport.
Thanks to the three students for giving up their Friday half-day and to their parents for taking the time out to help arrange attending the launch.
