On Friday CPB’s junior camogie team played Millstreet in the County Shield. The game was played in very wet, windy conditions which made it difficult to score. Elaine Murphy in goals made lots of vital saves to keep the Milstreet forwards at bay. Kayla Healy in midfield maintained great possession. Anna McCarthy worked tirelessly in the backs and made some important turnovers. Abbie O’Sullivan had a super game in the CPB forward line. Millstreet ran out winners on the day.
