As the curtain has come down on our TY Musical 2024 ‘Grease Lightning’ we would like to acknowledge some very important people. First of all, a huge well done to our wonderful cast, backstage crew, set design and PR students who ensured a flawless show on both nights! You should be incredibly proud of your hard work. Big thanks to the musical teachers Ms Casey, Mr Carey Kennedy, Ms Hosey, Ms Hurley, Mr Shanahan and Jacinta Barry (SNA) for helping the students to prepare all year, giving up a lot of free time in recent weeks to get stage ready! Thanks also to our new teacher Ms O’Donoghue for her help in recent weeks. Thank you to Ms Laura O’Sullivan for taking photographs at both performances. Thank you to all of the staff at Colaiste Pobail Bheanntraí for their support in recent weeks to ensure the show was as good as it could be! Thank you to Denis Collins of Sodexo for putting up our stage as always which is a very time consuming task. We are very grateful to the whole Sodexo staff for having the hall ready. Thanks to Mairead O’Brien for providing refreshments. Thanks to Jack Murphy (5th year) for doing our lighting and to Soundtrax, especially Denis the sound engineer, for our sound. Finally thank you to our wonderful audiences both nights – we hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did!
