CPB newly formed sail racing team took part in their first official Munster Schools Sail Racing event hosted by Fasnet Marine Education Centre in Schull Harbour. While the sun may have evaded us the sea conditions were very favourable with light northerly winds of 6knts gusting to14knts. CPB were excellently represented by Dinny O’Shea, Sean Collins ,Finn Steadman, Cara Collins, Danny O’Donovan and Aoife Brown. The sailing was exciting with 54 races run off on the day . A big than thank you and acknowledgement to Catherine Kingston of Bantry Bay Sailing Club who provided assistance and knowledge to the CPB team on the day. We are already looking forward to the next event in November.
