On Thursday our u14 boys footballers took to the pitch at home to play Glanmire. It was a close affair for the first half with both defences working hard. CPB led at halftime on a scoreline of 3-4 to 2-3. In the second half both sides increased their scoring conversion rate. Ryhan Harrington was in outstanding form scoring 5 goals with Conor Sheedy adding a sixth. Joey Sheehan, Conor Hourihan, Micheal Coppinger and Ryhan Harrington all scored points. Special mention to Sean Holland for his great defending and constant running to make sure he was an option for his teammates. Well done also to Bill O’Donovan making brilliant interceptions to stop the opposition. The final score was CPB 6-6 Glanmire 9-5. Hard luck boys but well done on a great team performance.
