On Monday the 11th of November our u17 soccer boys played Dumanway at home in the first round of Munster Cup. Dumanway got an early goal to put them 1 nil ahead. The boys kept their heads and Charlie Swayne got an equalizer. Ryan O’Boy and Chris O’Shea kept the boys in the game with their incredible defence with a goal line clearance from Ryan minutes into the second half. Theo scored goal after goal to claim himself a hatrick. Darragh Dullea had a couple great assists. Dominik Plazcek got a goal to finish with the final scoreline 5-6 in Dumanways favour. Hard luck lads. Big thanks to Colin McCarthy and Fachtna O’Connell for stepping up and managing the team and helping out Mr. Hogan.
