The U19A boys basketball team took on Crosshaven in a competitive matchup, giving it their all but ultimately falling short as Crosshaven claimed victory.
Charlie Curran delivered an outstanding performance, leading the scoring with a remarkable 29 points, including several impressive three-pointers. James Murphy and Paddy Russell showed their strength under the basket, playing a crucial role in rebounds and scoring. Cathal McCarthy made his presence known on defence, blocking shots and disrupting Crosshaven’s plays.
Despite the boys’ efforts, Crosshaven managed to come out on top. However, the team’s resilience and strong individual performances left a lasting impression. A huge thank you to Terence for taking time out from class to help Mr Curran lift the spirits of the team.
Scorers:
– Charlie Curran: 29 points
– Tom Conlon: 3 points
– James Murphy: 2 points
– Paddy Russell: 2 points
– Fionn Goggin: 2 points
