Our under 15 Boys Basketball Team had an impressive win over visitors Carrigaline Community School at home today ensuring their place in the County semi final next week which will be played at home. The U.15’s showcased some impressive scores from Oscar Doody and Charlie Curran throughout the game, while we saw good defence displayed by Cathal McCarthy and James Keane. Paddy Russel also got some important scores as did Jack Gibbons. Owen Crowley again proved very strong on rebounds. Ryan Connolly has made huge improvements and again James Murphy who stood in for big brother Tom, looked very comfortable playing an age up. Shay O’ Donovan who deputised for Jack Phillips today got his name on the scoresheet a number of times. Special mention to Mr Kingston and Ms Crowne who stood in for Mr Curran today and did a fantastic job in coaching the team. The boys will play Colaiste Criost Ri next Thursday at 11.30am at home and the winner will go to Neptune in April for the final!
