On Monday the 11th of November the u16 boys’ championship football team travelled to Newcestown to play Colaiste Chriost Ri. The lads faced a lot of adversity from the early stages of the match, facing constant attacking from Colaiate chriost Ri. Tom Conlan displayed brave goalkeeping while persistent strikes were shot against him. The second half showed an improvement from the Bantry attack. A great defensive effort was shown by the Bantry players but ultimately, they lost out to the clinical performance from their opponents, the final score being 1-6 to 4-12. Max Flynn showed composure in front of goals, scoring a goal and a point. Hard luck lads. Well done to all players!
