On Tuesday 12th of November, the u15 girls soccer team took on Nagle College to play in the Minor B FAI Schools Competition. Bantry were unlucky not to score in the first half from a wonderfully struck ball from Michaela O’Sullivan that was saved by Nagle College’s goalkeeper. Bantry were also fortunate to have Amy O’Donovan in goals who saved many incoming shots. Donna French kept the back line safe throughout the match. Maggie O’Donoghue and Michaela O’Sullivan linked up very well in midfield to bring the ball up field. Bantry unfortunately couldn’t find the back of the net and saw the game end CPB 0 – 2 Nagel College.
