Yesterday Clear Cut Jewellery had an early 7.30am start to finals day. After breakfast in the PayPal offices the girls were first to pitch in the semi finals shortly after 9am. They did an incredible job pitching impressing with their passion, business plan and entrepreneurial mindsets. At lunch time four finalists were announced with Clear Cut Jewellery missing out on a spot in the final four.
However later in the evening the girls set up for the Expo in the National Museum of the American Indian where they made lots of sales and most incredibly ended up pitching for NFTE President Dr JD Larock! It was time then to attend the finals dinner where the final four pitched to the entire room and a panel of judges who selected Lilypad (USA) as the overall winner. Congratulations to Raneem 👏🏻
It has been a really busy few day for the girls and they have done themselves, their families and CPB incredibly proud on the world stage . They can hold their heads high as the first ever Irish representatives at the World Entrepreneurship Challenge. A huge huge thank you to Sean Campbell, Caroline Cooke and Miriam Ryan of Foroige who have been so supportive of the girls here in New York with Laura O’Connell and Stephen Power also offering all their support from home. It has been a truly enriching experience experience for the girls which wouldn’t have been possible without the Foroige Ireland NFTE team 🇮🇪🇺🇸
