There have been some fantastic achievements in the Coláiste Pobail Community over the last number of weeks and we’d like to recognise those achievements.

Well done to our two CPB students Óran and Oisín Brady who competed in the Wako world kickboxing championships 2022 in Italy this week: Óran was successful in his first two fights defeating England and Poland: In the semi final then he narrowly missed out against his opponent from Croatia, putting up a strong performance: Well done to Òran on this massive achievement to compete in the worlds and representing Ireland: CPB is proud of you.Oisín Brady competed first against Kazakhstan to sail into the final against his Hungarian opponent who he defeated to earn the title of world champion in his category!! A big congratulations to Oisín on this massive achievement.
- Well done to rugby players Michael O’ Donovan and Dylan Hicks who have been selected in the Ireland Under 18 squad. What a fantastic achievement.

On Sunday 9th October Laura Cronin competed in her first ever Prelim Irish Dancing Championship in Charleville, Co CorkShe came away with an amazing podium place and has now her sights set on competing in Munster championships in November.Well Done Laura!!
