On Wednesday, the Senior, Junior and First year Girls Rugby teams travelled to Bandon Grammar. The Seniors played three 7s games against the Grammar and were dominant in their display, with each of the CPB girls scoring at least one try.
The first years played a training game and were coached through the game by a Munster coach, which was a great opportunity for them. The intensity of the game increased as their confidence grew. This allowed them to develop their understanding and skills, in a safe environment. The girls very much enjoyed the games and learned a lot.
The Juniors played a 15 aside game against the Bandon Grammar Junior team. The CPB girls were slow to start and went 17-0 down in the first 10 minutes. The CPB girls kept their heads up and reorganised to finish the first half 17-17. The second half was equally close, with some brilliant rugby played by both sides, and many more trys scored.
Well done to all of the girls, and thanks to Bandon Grammar for hosting us on the day.
