Our junior boys rugby team made the trip to Bandon last Thursday to play the Mungret Shield against Clonakilty Community College. The boys battled hard showing great effort, but lost out to a strong Clonakilty team. Danny O’Donovan was excellent making great tackles. There were some great runs from Ronan Kennan and great assists from Jack O’Brien and Adam O’Donovan. The rest of the team also put in a brilliant effort.

Our senior boys rugby team travels to Bandon on Thursday and played a tough game against Hamilton High. After a tough first half the boys pulled through and claimed the second half with great runs from captain Daniel Coughlan, an outstanding conversion from Conor Bignell as well as two sublime tries from Adam Gilman Burke and Daniel Ward. There were exceptional performances across the field with special mention to Eli Reynolds, Charlie Cronin and Alex Nel. Unfortunately CPB lost the game but well done to all the lads.
