On Monday CPB junior football ladies played at home against Bandon. All the girls played amazingly and worked well as a team. Ciara Kelly started us off strongly and scored the first goal and good points followed by Riona Harrington and Emma Healy. There was some great blocking by Ella Foley in goals throughout the game. The girls had great communication which led to Michaela scoring another goal followed by another two points.By the end of the first half it was CPB 2-3 Bandon 1-7. At the start of the second half Lauren Connell raised a white flag quickly followed by Abbie O’Sullivan making a great run and scoring a goal. There was great defensive work by Alannah MacCarthy Dowling. Emma Healy got another goal and Ciara Kelly and Belle O’Donoghue scored some more points. The final score was 5-11 to 3-13, Well done girls!
