On Thursday the 6th of March our 1st year boys ‘A’basketball hosted Patrician Academy, Mallow in the Basketball Ireland Post Primary Schools A semi finals.
CPB boys played excellently, with Michael Hayden very strong on rebounds. Charlie Downey’s lay-ups were immense. Harry Curran was very quick to bring the ball up the court to set up scores, with Conor O’Mahony very strong driving to the basket
CPB won convincingly and march on to the finals next week in Neptune Stadium. This is the first ever CPB Boys Basketball team to make it through to an A Level final. Well done to all.
