On Monday, the 21st of October the senior ladies football team took on Beara Community School in the Munster D competition at home. CPB took the lead with an early point from Grace Kingston. Beara responded shortly with a point. Ella Foley had some great saves and there were some great turnovers from Molly O Sullivan in defence. Kayla Healy supported these turnovers with impressive clearance kicks. Faye Hurley scored 2 goals to put CPB well in the lead demonstrating her accuracy. Cliodhna O’Shea put in some super tackles in the back line keeping the momentum with CPB. Beara scored a late goal near the end of the second half. CPB responded with two more goals scored by Grace Kingston and Lauren Connell. CPB put up a great team performance and came away with the win. With two wins from two that puts CPB into the semi final of the Munster West play offs.
