Three of CPBs Student Council members (Lucy 6th year, Niall 6th year & Shona 5th year) had the opportunity to attend the Cork Regional Council of the ISSU (Irish Second Level Students Union) on Tuesday 5th November in Cork City Hall. They had a busy day! They took part in walking debates on topics such as school uniforms and mobile phone pouches. They met Maggie O’Sullivan, Student Recruitment Advisor of UCC who delivered an interesting workshop on Nurturing Bright Futures. Throughout the day, all students were given opportunities to share their ideas and opinions openly and authentically in a safe space.
