CPB U19 Girls Secure Thrilling Comeback Victory Against Coláiste Mhuire AG in South Basketball League Clash

On Tuesday our u19 girls basketball team played Coláiste Mhuire AG away in the South Basketball League. It was a reversal of the u16 game with CPB trailing the opposition for much of the game before storming into the final quarter to snatch victory. It was a solid team performance with Clodagh Downey CPB’s leading scorer shooting 16 points. Lily O’Sullivan scored 13 points including four excellent three pointers. Saffron Hogan did excellently keeping the ball moving down the court and Norah Cronin had a great game on rebounds scoring 6 points also. Abbie O’Sullivan added 6 points while Lainey Barry scored 4 points. Final score: CPB 45 Colaiste Mhuire 40. Well done girls!
