On Monday the U19 girls basketball team player Coláiste Choilm at home. In a dominant team performance the CPB girls had an emphatic win. They started the first quarter strongly with scores from Lily O’Sullivan, Katie Russell and Anna Conlon. CPB further extended their lead throughout the game with Clodagh Downey, Meadhbh Sammon, Ali O’Sullivan, Leah Cotter and Abbie O’Sullivan all getting on the scoresheet. Katie was excellent under the basket on rebounds. Meadhbh and Ali moved the ball well and made great driving runs to set up scores. Clodagh was brilliant on offence along with Lily who got some impressive scores. Anna and Lainey were strong in defence. Leah Cotter and Abbie provide dmuch needed energy in the fourth quarter with great scores. Well done to all the girls!
