On Monday 13th November we welcomed past pupil Libby Coppinger to CPB with the All Ireland Camogie cup as well as her two All Star Awards from 2022 and 2023. As part of her visit she was promoting her upcoming Warriors for Humanity Plant the Planet project (see details below) where she will travel to Kenya along with another past pupil Niamh Cotter. Thank you to all staff and students who supported our ‘Red Day’ and well done to Ms J Leonard on winning the jersey. A huge thank you to TY students Saffron Hogan and Laura Cronin who did all the collecting of donations and advertising for this fundraiser.
Plant the Planet games 2023 takes place in Kenya this month where Libby, Niamh and a 50 strong contingent of intercounty players from all 4 codes will aim to help plant 1 MILLION TREES & help thousands of families towards sustainable lives.
All donations go directly to Self Help Africa and will play a significant role in helping to combat the impacts of climate change.
