Sloppy first half, Bantry went up one nil on the stroke of half time when a corner was headed clear into the path of James Hickey who volleyed to the top corner from 25 yards.
In the 2nd half although Bantry started to play better football and early chances it was Dunmanway who scored first through a persevering run and good finish by Donnacha Collins. At 1-1 Dunmanway started to get more into it and created some great chances. Failing to take the lead with their efforts Dumnanway were frustrated and began to let Bantry back into the game and it could have been settled two ar three times if not for heroic saves from Dunmanway ‘Keeper Ciaran Murray. Eventually it was Luke Sully who broke the 2nd half deadlock and secured a deserved win for Bantry although they had a fee scares in the last 5 minutes including being saved by the crossbar at Full time.
