Our U/15 girls soccer team travelled to Midleton today in their final pool match. A few small delays on route meant the girls had to start the game with a minimal warm up, but boy did they start. Within the first 10 minutes, Michaela O’Sullivan had the ball in the back of the net, followed by Cara McGettigan. Against the run of play Midleton got a goal back before half time, and Bantry had numerous attempts at goal. Changes were made at half time and they paid off, with Michaela Keheller banging in two goals and a final goal by Michaela O’Sullivan to make the final score CPB 5, Midleton 1. A great team performance with every player contributing in their position.
Next up for the girls is an away Cork Cup quarter final against Beara. Good luck girls
