Huge congratulations to our Enterprise students who were extremely successful at the Local Enterprise Office’s Student Enterprise Programme at the Celtic Ross Hotel yesterday.
First Year student Mary Minehane picked up the category award for Best Sales and she was the Overall Award winner for the Junior Category. Mary now goes on to represent CPB in the National Finals in Mullingar on the 8th of May.
TY students were entered in the Senior Category and the lads from Cabcraft picked up a category award for Best Business Plan, followed by the ladies from Celticglassware, who won the Sustainability Award.
Young entrepreneurs from 12 secondary schools showcased their innovative business ideas at the competition organised by Cork County Councils LEO Cork North and West Offices.

Young entrepreneurs from 12 secondary schools across West Cork showcased their innovative business ideas at the regional finals of the Student Enterprise Programme at the Celtic Ross Hotel. Organised by Cork County Council’s Local Enterprise Office Cork North and West, the competition gives secondary school students the opportunity to develop real-world business skills by creating and marketing their own products and services.
The programme, which is funded by the Government of Ireland through Enterprise Ireland, engages over 29,000 students nationwide, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking.
