On Wednesday 20th November our 1st year boys and 2nd year girls travelled to Dunmanway to play Maria Immaculata.
First up were the 1st year boys. In the first half, James O’Sullivan wearing number 6 scored a goal although the opposing team replied by scoring 3.
In the second half, thanks to the goalkeeper, who made incredible saves, and Sean number 4, who was incredible in defence the opposition struggle to score. Charlie played an incredible game with his dribbles and his runs. But the rival team ended up scoring another goal against us leaving the final score 4-1.

The second-year girls’ team, in the first half thanks to Cara O’Brien pressing and dribbling, scored a goal, but the opposition team also scored one and it was level at half time. At the beginning of the second half, the opposition team scored 2 goals. The CPB goalkeeper made good long passes and Abbie number 2, almost scored another goal, but the opposition cleared their lines effectively. Donna number 4 made an excellent contribution and tried hard to score another goal. Final score 4-1.
