First year Boys Basketballers make Regional Semi’s after fantastic quarter final win over Glanmire.

Well done to our first year boys basketball team who had a fantastic regional quarter final win over Gaelcholáiste Glanmire today. The first two quarters were very tight and there was only a couple of baskets between the teams but a few nice shots from Tom Conlon widened the gap in the third quarter. Captain,Sean Collins took a lot of rebounds in the game while Darragh Coppinger, Lucas Cronin Murphy, Mateusz Kozlowski, Ben Daly and James Cronin all got their name on the scoresheet A huge imrovement over the last number of weeks has seen this team develop their offense. They will now play Cobh in the regional semi final on Tuesday at 11.30am at home with the prize of a Final in Neptune Stadium and automatic qualification for the All-Ireland playoffs for the winning team.
