Today our intermediate Camogie team played St Brogan’s College at home. It was an extremely evenly contested match from start to finish. CPB displayed great team work and skill throughout. Emma O’Leary had a great game in goals making some really important saves. In defence Annie Coppinger and Caoimhe O’Sullivan gave a great display ably assisted by all the CPB backs. Kayla Healy was once again strong in possession in midfield and Aisling O’Sullivan’s passing accuracy was impressive and she helped herself to a point also. Sophie O’Sullivan was in great scoring form with a personal tally of 2-2 for the day. At half time CPB led on a scoreline of 2-3 to 1-4. Shortly after the second half began the teams were level. Holly Sheehan scored a great goal from a free as she contributed 1-2 to the scoreboard. Muireann Cronin put in some great tackles and scored 0-2. Unfortunately CPB lost out by just 2 points on a scoreline of 3-7 to 3-9. Well done on a great team performance girls.
