Congratulations to our U19 boys basketball team who have qualified for the South League semi-finals after an excellent win against Coláiste Críost Rí. The game was very tight at the beginning with the City School taking the lead in early lead, however some fantastic shooting from Ronan O’Sullivan and Cian Keohane allowed Bantry to take a lead going into the second quarter. Fantastic rebounding as usual from Eoghan O’ Donoghue, Guido Toniola and Shane Murnane allowed to Bantry to get up the court very quickly to create some great scores. Mark O’Sullivan was that his usual best a point guard and added lots of scores. Ethan Hanley again shot brilliantly and Jack Phillips did very well coming into the team.
