Last Monday, on a crisp morning. our Junior camogie team took on Carrigaline. The game started strong from the CPB girls. The midfielders worked tirelessly both defending and attacking. Our goalie Elaine Murphy was under a lot of pressure which she dealt with very well. There was some amazing defending by Kerrie O’Connell and Moya Coakley who was also in charge of frees for the backs. Serin made great bursts forward for CPB. Abbie O’Sullivan was a great centre forward who put in a lot of work. Kayla Healy and Abbie O’Sullivan both scored goals. The scoreline did not do the girls justice but it was a great game to practice new skills and get some touches in for the upcoming games. Well done to all the girls involved.
