On Monday the u16 boys footballers played Glanmire in the county championship. The boys gave a great display of team work with seven different scorers contributing. Cathal McCarthy had a great game and troubled the opposition constantly with his driving runs. Adam Gilman Burke was excellent in defence. Thomas O’Donoghue scored an excellent goal and a point. Oisin Murphy’s kick passing was sublime as he contributed 1-2 to the scoreboard. Well done lads on the narrowest of victories winning on a scoreline of 3-8 to 3-7.
