On Monday the second year girls played Skibbereen Community School at home. SCS built up a big lead in the first quarter which left CPB chasing the game. The girls did an excellent job and with great teamwork narrowly lost on a scoreline of 30-39. Sara Murphy scored some great baskets. Ciara Kelly added great energy and gave great passes. Fiona Buckley was impressive making great runs at the oppostion with Muireann O’Leary showcasing her speed to trouble the SCS defence. Hard luck girls but well done a great comeback!
