U14 Girls Rugby Team Shines in Blitz at Virginia Media Park: Secures Victories and Draws in Thrilling Matches!

On Thursday, the U14 girls rugby team competed in a blitz under bright sunshine in Virginia Media Park. The girls played some fast and confident rugby, with accurate passing, and tacking improving throughout the day. Strong carries and heads up rugby lead to a close victory over Bandon Grammar. A focus on improving the accuracy of the tackle and speed at the line, put pressure on Mallow, leading to another win. The final game was a close contest against SCS Clonakilty, with the lead swopping between the sides, but ending in a draw. Fantastic day out, with loads of skills and smiles on show. We are looking forward to more rugby, and will always welcome new and returning players, in September.
