U19 C Basketball team just lose out in a thriller versus Beara Community School.

Hard luck to our Under 19C Boys basketball team who played out a thriller today at home to Beara. The teams traded scores in the first quarter with some great drives by Christopher Cronin and some fantastic outside shooting from Luke Salter Townsend and Evin Harrington. Beara went into the lead with some great fast breaks and held a ten point lead until the last quarter when the Bantry Boys came within a basket. Fionn Harrington and Conor Hinnell played extremely well in defence and James McDill and Michael O’Riordan we’re excellent on rebounds. Calvin O’ Brien got himself on the scoresheet also. A three point buzzer beater by Christopher Cronin wasn’t enough for CPB and Beara ran out winners on a score line of 44-41. Well done boys. Next up Schull CC.
