Yesterday Clear Cut Jewellery took part in a Day of Learning. The day started in the NFTE offices in 150 Wall Street overlooking the Hudson River and Brooklyn Bridge. In a series of workshops the girls were inspired by guest speakers offering insights on entrepreneurship. They also were split into groups to pitch some news ideas to NFTE staff which included NFTE President Dr JD laRock!
After a short break it was off to 395 9th Avenue, offering panoramic views of NYC from the 48th floor, for a 2 hour panel discussion on the UN Global Goals Conservation. There was a Q&A for the panel of three experts on goal 3 Health and Well-being. This was a really enlightening experience as they offered tips and strategies for positivity, the effects of multitasking on our IQ as well as the potential of technology but our need to use it responsibly.
After a long day of learning there was still time to do
some exploring and Clear Cut Jewellery made their way to Times Square!
